We are looking for a Property Administrator to support the daily operations of a residential community in Winnfield, Louisiana. This contract position with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with residents, managing administrative tasks, and helping keep property functions organized and responsive. The role includes a 32-hour work week with one consistent weekday off, offering a steady schedule while contributing to leasing and rent-related activities for a 60-unit property.
Responsibilities:
• Manage rent collection and accurately process resident payments and security deposits.
• Conduct property tours for prospective residents and answer questions about available units.
• Provide administrative support for the day-to-day operation of a 60-unit residential community.
• Maintain resident files, leasing records, and property documentation in an organized manner.
• Assist with leasing activities, including application coordination and move-in preparation.
• Use property management systems and standard office tools to track information and support reporting.
• Communicate with residents, applicants, and team members to help resolve routine property matters.
• Follow an established weekly schedule of 32 hours with one designated recurring day off.
• Prior experience in residential property management, leasing, or property administration.• Working knowledge of rent processing, deposits, and resident-facing leasing support.
• Familiarity with property management software, including Yardi, is preferred.
• Understanding of LIHTC guidelines is beneficial.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple administrative tasks effectively.
• Clear, detail-oriented communication skills and a customer-focused approach when working with residents and prospects.
