• Equipment Available Onsite: X-ray, EKG
  
• Support Staff: MA: 1, Office Staff
  

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC/BE in FP/IM/Peds/ED (ABMS or American Osteopathic Board only)
  
• Licenses: Active MO or IMLC
  
• Certifications: BLS (AHA)
  
• Experience: Residency trained; BC/BE within 5 yrs of residency; minimum 50 patient encounters in last 12 months
  
• Other Qualifications: EMR proficiency (Epic preferred), comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints), reading EKGs and X-rays.
  
• Willing to work 12-hr shifts
  
• Able to see adults & peds
  

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages presenting with minor injuries and illnesses.
  
• Perform minor procedures including suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, and casting.
  
• Interpret diagnostic studies such as X-rays and EKGs.
  
• Work collaboratively with medical assistants, radiology technicians, and other support staff.
  
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Epic EMR system.
