About Us:
St. Louis County Periodontics & Dental Implants is a patient-focused specialty practice committed to providing exceptional periodontal and implant care in a supportive, team-oriented environment. We are seeking a skilled and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Dental Assistant with a minimum of 2 years of chairside assisting experience. The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent patient care. Experience in periodontics or oral surgery is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the doctor during periodontal and implant procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Take digital X-rays and intraoral photographs
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with charting
- Ensure patient comfort and manage pre- and post-op instructions
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Scan for and manage lab cases and inventory as needed

Requirements:
- At least 2 years of dental assisting experience (specialty experience a plus)
- Current Dental Assistant certification (if required by state)
- Nitrous oxide certification
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
