This position is open to candidates of various backgrounds and experience levels; the role level/title will be chosen based on the candidate match to basic qualifications and experience for this geography. What You Will Do Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen's products and communicate clinical benefits to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization. Lead sales efforts to achieve territory goals by delivering branded messages, conducting planned programs, coordinating with medical education programs, and achieving or exceeding targets through in-person and virtual engagement. Develop relationships to service accounts, tailor discussions to customer needs, ensure product access, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts. Provide feedback on marketing strategy, analyze sales activities, and develop territory plans with the District Manager. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative. Demonstrate passion for Amgen products and uphold brand while serving patients throughout the sales cycle. What We Expect Of You We are seeking a motivated sales professional with relevant qualifications. Basic Qualifications Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s degree with 4 years of Sales experience or High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience Senior Specialty Representative: Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of sales experience or Associate degree with 6 years of sales experience or High school diploma/GED with 8 years of sales experience Preferred Qualifications Sales, marketing and/or clinical experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, diagnostics, healthcare insurance, pharmacy services, medical devices, or medical supplies Some experience and/ or pre-graduate sales training and/or proven leadership under pressure for Specialty Representative 3+ years experience for Senior Specialty Representative Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, rheumatology, neurology, endocrinology, bone health, and related areas Advanced influencing and relationship-building skills focused on sales outcomes Local market knowledge Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences or Business Administration Adaptability with core sales competencies Compensation and Benefits The annual base salary range is state-referenced (Specialty Representative: $91,720-$108,152; Senior Specialty Representative: $121,379-$149,742). Actual salary depends on skills, experience, and qualifications.
