Personal Banker Associate I - Parker-Premier

Job Summary Retail Personal Banker I – Plano, Texas Selected candidates will develop into a Retail Personal Banker I following a 4‑8 week onboarding and education program that includes rotations in operations and Sales & Service. The role focuses on using a consultative sales process to identify and meet the financial needs of customers and prospects, acquire new households, and deepen existing relationships. Core Responsibilities Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build comprehensive customer profiles. Maintain in‑depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and recommend appropriate solutions. Proactively reach out to customers using marketing tools to set appointments for periodic financial reviews. Engage in cross‑selling and outside sales activities, including membership presentations, business calls, and community events. Collaborate with Business Partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, Investment) to provide holistic financial solutions. Meet or exceed customer experience and production goals, contributing to year‑over‑year revenue growth measured by the Financial Center P&L. Guide CSRs on sales and referral processes and promote customer satisfaction with a friendly, professional demeanor. Open, service, and close the full range of retail products, including participation in consumer loan and bankcard processes. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics. Qualifications College degree or equivalent work experience. Preferred experience in the financial industry. Comfortable with sales activities to acquire new consumers and cross‑sell to existing customers. Proficient in advanced math functions for credit and financial analysis. Professional communication skills and the ability to represent Fifth Third Bank positively. Working knowledge of retail policies and procedures to exercise sound judgment. Mandatory S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). Working Conditions Normal office environment with extended screen time. The role includes travel within the affiliate for training and occasional classroom sessions outside the affiliate.
