MRI Technologist OpportunityBeacon Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our Cincinnati team! The scheduled workdays are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.Position Responsibilities/Standards:Attend department, clinic or company meetings as requiredDemonstrate sound judgment by taking appropriate actions regarding questionable findings or concernsConsistently work in a positive and cooperative manner with fellow staff members.Consistently demonstrate ability to respond to changing situations in a flexible manner in order to meet current needs, such as reprioritizing work as necessary.Consistently demonstrate attention to detail in documentation, recording and patient information.Attend required annual in-service programs.Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all company policies and procedures.Adheres to established facility safety requirements and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Identifies potentially unsafe situations and notifies supervisorPerform MRI scansScreen patients and educateEnsure all forms and orders are completeObtain medical historyInject contrast materialsPrint films for MD's and RadiologistsLog all patients/scans/copies/readingsStock supplies and linensMaintain room cleanlinessInteract with MD's and radiologists to ensure correct exams are completed.Perform calibration and/or routine maintenance of scanner and processor.Protect scanning room from any potential hazards, i.e. projectiles, credit cards, watches, etc.Assist with front desk duties as needed, ie- schedule appointment, answer phones.Qualifications:Must be ARRT certified.USD $29.00/Hr. USD $43.50/Hr.
