What To Expect
Sr. NPI Technical Program Manager will support Engineering prototype A and B build phases (operations support and coordination, manage validation trial requests, ramp planning); Leading C and D build phases (core team leadership, program schedule, build plan, materials coordination, build execution, allocation management, issue tracking). The Sr. TPM will also lead and mentor their direct reports, helping them grow personally and professionally. They will lead changes to sustaining products with minimal interruption to production flow. They will do this, while understanding their available resources and allocating them appropriately. Understanding how decisions in one area impact other departments and operational goals. They will track details and manage actions to closure. The Sr. TPM will ensure cross-functional team adherence to NPI processes and procedures. What You'll Do Manage the cross functional team to ensure successful launches of new products into the Gigafactory Nevada locationLead build core team meetings to coordinate all aspects of prototype builds, set build plans and evaluate constraints, Lead, guide, and mentor junior team membersDrive material readiness with supply chain and material planning teamsProvide direction to project engineers for priorities and trial requirements; Own product roadmapsPerform cost analyses to reduce product cost and manage inventoryAid in the development and roll-out of NPI structure and processesCoordinate with process and quality engineers to support new product roll outs What You'll Bring Degree in Engineering or equivalent experienceMinimum 6 years experience in mix of engineering and Project Management fields with evidence of exceptional ability managing multiple complex programs/projects simultaneouslyExperience in R&D/Production/Manufacturing environment (semi-automated preferred)Executive level communication skills, both verbal and written to both technical and non-technical team membersAbility to work cross-functionally and manage large teamsWorks well under pressure and can manage multiple priorities simultaneously; Ability to adapt to changes quicklyMust have command of English Language, both written and verbal Benefits
