Senior Software Engineer

An active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance is REQUIRED. GliaCell is seeking a Senior Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This full‑time position supports a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract. Key Responsibilities The Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances complex and diverse software systems (e.g., processing‑intensive analytics, novel algorithm development, manipulation of extremely large data sets, real‑time systems, and business management information systems) based upon documented requirements. Works individually or as part of a team. Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results. Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment. Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software trade‑offs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off‑the‑shelf (COTS)/Government Off‑the‑shelf (GOTS) in place of new development, and requirements analysis and synthesis from system level to individual software components. Key Requirements Possess an active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. 14+ years experience as a Software Engineer and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related. Works well independently as well as on a team. Key Skills AWS ML certificate or knowledge implementing production‑scale AI/ML solutions/systems. Knowledge of AI tools and developing deep learning models. Experience w/cloud infrastructure management. Desired Skills AI tools (ChatGPT, Google GEMINI and GROK). AI Tools and Language Models are Agentic and Generative AI concepts. Location Aurora, CO Salary Range The salary range for this full‑time position is $170,000 to $260,000. Your salary is determined by skills, experience, and other factors.
