Overview A regional medical center in northwest Idaho along the Washington border is seeking an experienced, full-time Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon to join its established orthopedic team within a comprehensive, high-acuity acute care setting. Clinic Hours: M-Th: 8a-5p, F: 8a-12p Schedule: Flexible - 36 patient-facing/ 4 admin Call: If foot/ankle only: 10 days/month; if taking general ortho - rotation 1:7 Average patients per day: 15-20 Department: Surgeons - 1 spine, 1 hand, 3 general, RN's, MA's, reception, and referral/auth staff J1 visa sponsorship available Qualifications: BC in Orthopedic Surgery Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of ID and DEA with full prescriptive authority Completion of an accredited Foot/Ankle fellowship strongly preferred Recruitment package may include: Base salary start at $430K + wRVU production incentive OR pure production model $50K Sign-on bonus 25+ days PTO $5K CME allowance $15K relocation allowance Student loan repayment assistance Health benefits 401(k) retirement plan Medical malpractice insurance/tail coverage Residency stipend Community Tucked into a sunny river valley with dramatic canyon views, this small city offers an unbeatable mix of affordability, outdoor adventure, and easygoing pace without feeling isolated.
