We are seeking an experienced Power Systems Engineer with expertise in power system modeling, simulation, and analysis for utility-scale, industrial, renewable energy, microgrid, and data center applications. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting the design, validation, and deployment of advanced electrification solutions. This role combines technical leadership with hands-on engineering responsibilities and requires close collaboration with regional and global engineering teams. The engineer will support project execution, business development, and customer engagement activities through technical studies, consulting support, and development of innovative power system solutions. Utility-scale renewable energy integration Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Data center power systems Industrial power systems Advanced power electronics applications Conduct and lead detailed electrical system analyses including: Power Factor Analysis Combined Short Circuit Ratio (CSCR) Analysis Harmonic Analysis Insulation Coordination Studies Transient Overvoltage Analysis Ride-Through Performance Evaluations Cable Ampacity and Sizing Studies Grounding System Design and Analysis Support integration of renewable generation, battery storage, reciprocating engines, gas turbines, and inverter-based resources. Serve as a power systems SME for customer projects and internal engineering teams. Support proposal development and customer presentations. Collaborate with global engineering teams to leverage technical expertise and best practices. Minimum master's degree in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Power Systems, Power Electronics, or related field. 6+ years of industrial experience performing power system studies and simulation for utility, industrial, renewable energy, microgrid, or data center applications. Experience with data center electrical infrastructure. Familiarity with AI and hyperscale data center electrical architectures. Modelling tools such as PSLF, EMTP-RV, CYME, EasyPower, PSCAD, Etap, PSSE, Matlab-Simulink Bonus qualification Experience validating EMT models using field measurements.
