General Purpose

Individuals in this position, upon reading prints, are responsible for determining location for foundation components and installing panel dividers.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

• Scrape forms to prep for production.
• Install corners.
• Make note of all items to be placed in walls (i.e., windows, doors, etc.)
• Install all brickledge and support ledge.

Working Conditions

• Duties are performed in the plant.
• Individuals are exposed to noise, moving machinery, and dust.
• Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include, but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, hard hats and gloves.

Physical Requirements

• Requires frequent transportation of objects up to 25 lbs.
• Requires occasional transportation of objects, up to 120 lbs.
• Requires repetitive use of feet when driving forklift.
• Requires the ability to stand, and walk for an 8-hour shift; longer during periods of overtime.
• Requires frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling.
• Requires the ability to perform simple & firm grasping and fine manipulating with both hands.
• Requires being around moving machinery.
• Must have manual dexterity; able to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Must have multi limb coordination; able to coordinate two or more limbs (for example, two arms, two legs, or one leg and one arm) while sitting, standing, or lying down.
• Job requires frequent twisting, bending, and/or rotating of the waist, head, neck and wrists.

• May be able to operate forklift.
• Must be able to use various hand tools.

• Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Knowledge

• Must have basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
