Position Insurance Agent – Nebraska City, NE Responsibilities Build and grow your own Shelter Insurance agency. Develop new contacts, network within the community, and establish a strong personal brand. Identify and pursue prospects, sell Shelter products to clients, and achieve sales targets. Oversee agency operations and, if desired, bring on staff to manage administrative duties. Meet sufficient sales requirements and core business proficiencies set by Shelter. Qualifications Motivated attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. Effective communication skills in a sales environment. Previous sales experience or a degree with general business coursework is helpful but not required. No prior insurance experience required; 50% of new agents have no insurance background.
