Job Summary:

The Senior ERP Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting JD Edwards solutions that meet business needs across Supply Chain and Finance. This role provides advanced technical expertise for JDE enhancements, implementations, and ongoing system maintenance while partnering with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

We are looking for an advanced-level technology professional with strong JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) ERP development experience. Exposure to modern ERP systems such as SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or similar platforms is considered a strong advantage. The ideal candidate demonstrates a hard-working mentality, flexibility, a team-player attitude, and excellent communication skills.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide advanced-level expertise by consulting with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and address new functional business requirements through JDE system development.
• Conduct feasibility analysis for requested enhancements and developments to ensure alignment with business needs within the JD Edwards environment.
• Execute development activities across all phases of system implementation, including the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical specifications and documentation to support JDE implementations, enhancements, and ongoing maintenance in an efficient and effective manner.
• Apply functional knowledge of Supply Chain and Finance domains to design and deliver effective ERP solutions that meet business requirements.
• Share knowledge and expertise to support the IT team in driving business value through JD Edwards and modern ERP solutions.

Required / Desired Knowledge, Experiences and Skills:

• Strong Knowledge of JDE Development Toolsets (9.0) in the areas of Object Management Workbench (OMW), Object Librarian (OL), Data Dictionary (DD), Table Browser, Debugging Tools, Forms, UBE (reports), Named Event Rule (NER), and Business Functions and Processing Options
• In addition to the standard Development Toolsets, experience with JDE Workflow and C programming experience and SQL procedures is a plus
• BI Publisher or Bottomline Transform experience is required.
• Need to have the knowledge to maintain JDE Security, Job Scheduler, DSI administrator and JDE System Administration with understanding the CNC process.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills and can work with all levels of the company
• Strong experience with JDE or similar ERP required

Education/Certifications:

• College degree preferred

Physical Working Environment:

This role is based in a climate-controlled office environment and involves prolonged periods of sitting. The position requires onsite presence five days per week (5 days in office). Occasional travel to Drew Marine’s international regional offices may be required, as dictated by project requirements.
