\nA Grass Valley, California based client is seeking an experienced Family Practice Physician with OBGYN skills to provide excellent primary care services to patients of all ages in a community clinic. An ideal candidate is a leader who works well in a collaborative environment and who practices evidence-based medicine.
\nRequired Qualifications
\n- \n
- Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree \n
- Current California medical license \n
- Completed an accredited residency program \n
- Current DEA certificate \n
- Board certified in primary care \n
- Current CPR certification \n
Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Assess and diagnose a variety of diseases and injuries in patients of all ages \n
- Order diagnostic tests and laboratory studies, interpret results and create treatment plans based on results \n
- Perform therapeutic procedures and educate patients on their treatment plans \n
- Arrange referrals, consultations, and therapeutic services for patients on caseload \n
- Document all patient encounters efficiently and according to policy \n
- Serve as a supervisor for mid-level providers \n
