Express Employment Professionals is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused Recruiting Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will recruit, interview, and place qualified candidates with local businesses while building strong relationships with both associates and client companies. The Recruiting Specialist plays a key role in matching the right people with the right opportunities while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting the success of both clients and job seekers.

• Recruit candidates through online job boards, social media, referrals, and community outreach.
• Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
• Conduct phone screens, interviews, and candidate assessments.
• Match candidates with available job opportunities based on skills, experience, and client needs.
• Coordinate interviews, drug screens, background checks, and onboarding.
• Maintain an active pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings.

• Work closely with client companies to understand hiring needs and job requirements.
• Provide updates on recruiting efforts and candidate availability.
• Respond quickly to client requests and staffing needs.
• Assist with resolving employee or client concerns in a professional manner.

• Maintain regular communication with placed associates.
• Conduct check-ins to ensure successful assignments.
• Address attendance, performance, and workplace concerns.
• Promote safety and company policies throughout each assignment.

• Maintain accurate applicant and employee records.
• Update recruiting software and applicant tracking systems.
• Prepare employment documentation and onboarding paperwork.
• Verify timecards and assist with payroll-related questions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations.

• Identify opportunities to expand business with existing clients.
• Assist with marketing available positions through social media and community networking.
• Represent Express Employment Professionals professionally within the community.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Previous recruiting, staffing, customer service, human resources, or sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Frequent computer and phone use.
• Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
