Precision CNC Production TechnicianBased in: Houston, TX 77041Is This You?Do you enjoy dialing in a setup until the first article is spot-on?Can you read complex blueprints and translate them into reliable machine moves?Do you thrive in a team that balances speed with uncompromising quality?What You’ll HandleConfigure and operate CNC equipment to produce components exactly to specification.Interpret work orders, technical drawings, and prints to plan each job effectively.Track machine performance in real time—adjust feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain quality and efficiency.Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime.Partner with peers and leads to streamline production processes and reduce waste.Uphold safety standards and maintain an orderly, well-labeled work area.Document part counts, in-process checks, and any nonconformances for management review.What You’ll Need to SucceedHigh school diploma or equivalent; machining coursework or certification preferred.Previous success as a CNC machinist or in a similar manufacturing position.Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.Working knowledge of CNC programming and machine operations.Skilled with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools.Strong attention to detail and an analytical, problem-solving approach.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Effective communication and a can-do attitude.Skills SnapshotCNC programmingSetup & changeoverPrecision measurement & hand metrologyProduction-run setupsReady to make your mark producing high-quality parts?
