Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and diagnose medical conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of small animal cases.
• Administer medications, vaccinations, and preventive care.
• Perform routine and advanced veterinary procedures using appropriate aseptic techniques.
• Conduct and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic results.
• Handle and restrain animals safely while ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Maintain accurate medical records and treatment documentation.
• Educate pet owners on preventive care, nutrition, wellness, and treatment recommendations.
• Assist in emergency and critical care cases as needed.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
• Active Florida Veterinary License (required).
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology.
• Experience with laboratory diagnostics, surgical procedures, and patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Passion for delivering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care.
