Qualifications & Experience:

• Hold or be eligible for a New Mexico SLP licensure.
• CCC-SLP certification preferred, open to new graduates.
• Background in school-based or healthcare speech-language pathology recommended.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work with K-12 students, adapting to varying developmental stages.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in students from kindergarten through twelfth grade.
• Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and conduct progress monitoring.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student learning.
• Provide therapy sessions both individually and in small groups.
• Participate in meetings, provide staff training, and contribute to a positive school culture.
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with school and state guidelines.
