Systems Engineer, Sr

A Lead Systems Engineer defines and develops complex system architectures, requirements, and integration strategies across hardware and software platforms, providing expert-level technical leadership to ensure robust system performance and influence future product frameworks.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Lead system architecture definition, requirements development, and documentation for complex, multi-layered systems (20%).Develop and maintain system specifications, interface control documents, test plans, test procedures, test reports, and related engineering documents (20%).Oversee system and subsystem integration and acceptance testing, ensuring hardware and software elements meet functional and performance requirements (20%).Guide system, hardware, and software design activities by analyzing requirements, resolving design weaknesses, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility (20%).Perform and coordinate advanced engineering analyses supporting detailed design of components, assemblies, and system-level solutions (20%).Representative Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master’s preferred.8–12+ years of progressive systems engineering experience supporting complex hardware/software products.Expert knowledge of system architecture, requirements development, and integration practices.Strong proficiency in generating and maintaining engineering documentation, including ICDs, test plans, and requirements specifications.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts and resolve multi-disciplinary design issues.Experience conducting detailed system analyses, integration testing, and verification/validation activities.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills.No unsolicited agency submittals please.
