StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: On Call;9 Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00

This facility is seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Nine-hour shifts with overtime paid after 9 hours only. Includes 30 minutes of administrative time and a 1-hour lunch.

• Practice Setting: Primarily outpatient clinic. On-call coverage includes hospital consults and inpatient rounding. Weekday hospital visits for new consults and weekend rounding/emergent consults as needed.

• Type of Cases and Required Procedures: Approximately 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology (primarily benign hematology cases). On-call physician manages new hospital consults. Nurse Practitioners round on established inpatients. No specific procedures listed.

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Not specified.

• Certifications Required: Active Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration preferred.

• Licensure Required: Active Indiana medical license preferred.

Lafayette is just s short drive north from Indianapolis and just across the river from West Lafayette, home of Purdue University.
