About the Position

⏰ Shift

• Night shift – 3×12 hours
  19:00 to 07:30
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within Telemetry, lower acuity units, and sister facility (Chestertown)

Key Responsibilities

• Care for Telemetry patients with cardiac conditions (dysrhythmias, ACS, CHF, post‑MI, etc.)
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
• Manage IV therapy, drips (including heparin & vasoactive drips), and central/peripheral lines
• Provide care for patients with respiratory issues (BiPAP/CPAP, HFNC, oxygen therapy)
• Handle neuro, endocrine, and renal patients as needed
• Perform assessments, documentation (Epic preferred), and follow safety/isolation protocols
• Collaborate with PT, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, radiology, and other interdisciplinary teams
• Float as needed; maintain patient ratios around 1:5 (may be up to 6 for lower acuity)

Requirements

Job Requirements & Qualifications

Experience

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous Charge experience: Preferred
• Travel experience: Required
• Patient ratio experience: 1:5

Licenses & Certifications

• Required:
  • BLS (AHA only)
  • ACLS (AHA only)
  • NIHSS
  • CPI (Can be completed onsite during orientation; Calm Every Storm online version required)
• License: Active MD RN license or compact license must be active at submission
