Job Description

Manually unloading cargo from shipping containers and trailers, and loading outgoing trucks.
Sorting, stacking, and organizing goods onto pallets according to warehouse standards.
Moving products from the loading dock to staging or storage areas.
Assessing cargo for damage, identifying damaged items, and documenting asset losses.
Keeping the loading dock clean, orderly, and safe.
Using manual or powered pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified).

Job Requirements

Ability to lift, push, and carry heavy items (often up to 50 lbs) regularly
Ability to stand, crouch, and walk for long periods
Prior experience in warehousing, logistics, or loading is preferred
Ability to read order manifests and verify freight contents
Strict adherence to workplace safety guidelines and OSHA standards
Willingness to work flexible schedules or weekends to meet shipping deadlines
