Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – School BasedLocation: Newark/Hayward/Redwood City, CA Schedule: Monday–FridayJob SummaryThe RBT will provide ABA-based interventions under the supervision of a BCBA/BCaBA and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to support children's growth and development in a fun, structured environment.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesImplement behavior intervention plans as designed by a BCBA/BCaBAProvide 1:1 and small-group ABA services in a preschool/community settingCollect and document accurate data and session notesSupport children with daily routines, transitions, communication, and social skillsAssist with diapering, toileting, and maintaining a clean and safe environmentCollaborate with teachers, therapists, and familiesFollow all company policies, safety procedures, and ethical guidelinesMinimum QualificationsActive Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (required)High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year experience working with children ages 0–5CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)Comfortable with hands-on care including diaper changingReliable, professional, and able to work as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience working with children with special needs or in early interventionBilingual (preferred, not required)Coursework in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or ABABenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and life insurance401(k)Paid time offOngoing supervision, mentorship, and professional supportLetters of recommendation available for continuing educationAbout Ascend Rehab Inc.At Ascend, we believe every day holds the possibility of a miracle.
