Position Overview The Pharmacy Cashier will provide front-desk, cashier, and administrative support while assisting the pharmacy staff with daily operations. This is an excellent entry-level role for someone with customer service experience who wants to grow in a healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities Greet patients and provide excellent customer service at the pharmacy counter Process transactions accurately Answer phones, schedule pickups, and handle patient inquiries Maintain patient records with confidentiality and accuracy Assist with prescription drop-off and pickup processes Support pharmacists and technicians with light clerical or inventory tasks Ensure the front counter and waiting area remain clean and organized. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience as a cashier, receptionist, or customer service associate preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle confidential information responsibly. Basic computer skills preferred. Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds (inventory and supplies). Manual dexterity for handling medication containers and packaging. Work Schedule & Compensation 9am - 5:30pm Compensation: $14 - $17 p/hr (Based on experience) Bonus: Available based on agreed KPI(s) Why Join?
