Mail Sorter Opportunity
The Job Center Staffing is now hiring Mail Sorters for ALL Shifts in the Grove City area. This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced logistics environment. Compensation/Shift/Benefits of Mail Sorter:
- $17.50/hr
- Monday-Friday 10pm-6am
- Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), PTO.
- Eligibility for the Work and Win program Rent/Mortgage paid for a year.
Responsibilities of Mail Sorter:
- Sort incoming and outgoing mail manually or with automated machines.
- Prepare mail for delivery by categorizing according to postage type and destination.
- Check mail for any signs of damage, tampering, or incorrect labeling.
- Operate mail processing machinery such as sorting machines and postage meters.
- Move mail and packages using manual effort or equipment like pallet jacks.
Requirements of Mail Sorter
- Able to stand long hours and bend and twist frequently lifting 20-35 lbs consistently.
- 1+ year of warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be comfortable working up to 7 days a week as needed.
- Must be comfortable working in a dusty environment.
