Site Support & Logistics Technician

Job Description

Job Description

We are looking for a Site Support & Logistics Technician to keep our residential remodeling jobs running smoothly. We do all things residential, with a focus on kitchen and bathroom remodels, additions, ADUs, basements, decks and flooring. This role is the backbone of our field operations. You'll make sure our crews have the materials, tools, and clean, organized job sites they need to do their best work.

Please read this before applying: This is primarily a logistics and support role, not a carpentry position, and your core responsibilities come first. That said, we believe in growing our people. As you prove yourself reliable and show interest, you'll have opportunities to work alongside our carpenters, learn our processes, and build real construction skills. For the right person, this role can be a stepping stone into a carpentry position with our team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

• Material runs: picking up and delivering materials and supplies to job sites on time
• Dump runs: hauling debris and demo waste and keeping job sites clear
• Tool management: organizing, tracking, cleaning, and maintaining company tools and equipment, and flagging repairs or replacements
• Vehicle care: daily/weekly clean-outs and organization of company vehicles, a monthly deep clean (vacuuming and making vehicles presentable), and coordinating routine upkeep, such as scheduling service appointments, handling drop-offs and pick-ups, and taking vehicles in for quick checks like tire pressure
• Job site cleanliness: helping keep job sites safe, clean, and orderly
• Assisting crews on site as needed and as time allows

Growth & Development:

• Hands-on learning alongside experienced carpenters as time and job priorities allow
• Regular check-ins to talk about your goals and progress
• Pay increases based on performance and reliability
• A potential path into a carpentry role for team members who show the skills and commitment

Ideal job skills include some or all of the following:

• Experience in construction, warehouse, delivery, or a similar hands-on role (helpful but not required)
• Familiarity with construction tools and materials
• Comfortable driving and loading trucks and trailers
• Organized enough to keep track of vehicle service schedules

Ideal personal skills include:

• Reliability: showing up on time and following through
• Organization: keeping tools, materials, and vehicles in order
• Communication: keeping project managers and crews updated on runs and needs
• Prioritizing: juggling multiple requests and adjusting when plans change
• Positive attitude: a team-first mindset and willingness to pitch in
• Safety: understanding of proper safety procedures and hazard recognition

Compensation:
$18 – $22 per hour (Pay based on experience)
Paychecks twice every month
Paid Time Off
401k
Company swag (shirts, hats, hoodies, beanies)
Company meals and holiday parties
Company access to the Adidas and Columbia employee stores

Company Hours:
Monday – Friday: 8am – 5pm
Hours listed are general. Occasionally we will start earlier or finish later depending on the job site and needs. Full time hours are not guaranteed. If it is a mutually good fit, you should have no problem clocking 35–40 hours every week.

MUST HAVES:

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to drive company trucks and tow trailers
• Pass a background check and drug screening
• Ability to lift 50–150+ lbs repeatedly

Cascadia REI LLC is an EOE committed to providing its employees with a Drug Free Workplace. Final candidates will undergo a pre-employment drug screen, lifting test, and criminal background check.

Thank you.
