Licensed Practical Nurse PT Nights

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team! Night shift available (7p-7a). The Recovery Village Columbus Drug and Alcohol Rehab (RVC) is dedicated to connecting those struggling with substance use disorder to hope. We provide care from detox to discharge, with multidisciplinary treatment delivered by compassionate physicians, clinicians, and addiction specialists. Clients benefit from first‑rate amenities such as yoga and art therapy, promoting mind and body healing. The facility is located in Groveport, Ohio—close to major airports and roadways yet far enough from Columbus to encourage renewal and relaxation. RVC is an 80‑bed facility offering a complete continuum of care—from medical detox and inpatient treatment to outpatient care and aftercare—with a care team of doctors, clinicians, counselors, and addiction professionals who provide high‑quality, compassionate care. Responsibilities Resolve pending issues from the previous shift, e.g., missed or incomplete labs or treatments, incomplete admissions or discharges, and missing data for continuity of care. Conduct compliance audits related to infection control, including glucometer, refrigerator, sharps containers, laboratory cleanliness, pest control, hand washing, and flu campaign. Handle medication storage, returns, destruction, and coordinate with the pharmacy to resolve medication issues. Order supplies, manage inventory, and maintain/organize the supply room. Monitor and track lab orders, outside consults, and medical transfers. Coordinate and plan the admission workflow, print Integra and Care 360 requisitions, and assure collected samples are properly labeled. Manage level of care transfers in AVATAR. Perform administrative functions such as scanning documents into AVATAR, assisting with the work schedule, and helping BHTs create or modify observation sheets. Conduct admission and discharge audits and ensure compliance with nursing procedures as directed by the Director of Nursing. Demonstrate ability to collaborate with the treatment team and incorporate medical issues into treatment planning. Participate in regular department and staff meetings. Interact with clients with compassion and respect. Exhibit strong work habits: complete tasks in a timely, efficient manner with minimal unexcused absences and adhere to scheduled shift times. Communicate effectively with other staff members and work well as part of a team. Show flexibility and adaptability, responding positively to changing conditions in the work setting. Maintain objectivity and maturity under stress. Accept and utilize supervision. Address problems noted by the supervisor promptly. Schedule 12‑hour shifts. Requirements Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) per state law (higher education preferred). At least two years’ experience as an LPN, preferably in a behavioral health setting. Licensed to practice in the state of licensure, active and in good standing. Benefits Starting pay $28.50/hr, based on experience. Night shift differential $2.00/hr. Discounted meal benefits as part of an employee package.
