About the Position

Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 2 Years Operating Room RN Experience Required License: Active License Required Certifications: BLS Required Must-Have: - Scrub and circulate experience - Pediatric OR experience - Travel experience Description: Operating Room RN position available in a Pediatric Hospital. Ideal candidates will have scrub and circulate experience. Travel experience is a requirement. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience. Weekly on-call shifts will be required, typically 6-8 per month. The unit consists of 30 beds dedicated to pediatric patients, ages newborn to 17 years. Weekend on-call shifts will also be scheduled on a rotating basis. Candidates must have experience working within a pediatric setting and in women's specialty care. Experience with robotic procedures is preferred. Candidates must submit references from previous managers or charge nurses within the last 2 years. BLS certification is required and must be current at the time of submission. Candidates should be aware of call requirements and self-scheduling for shifts. Travelers must have permanent addresses that are a minimum of 75 miles from the facility. Please note that flu shots are required unless a medical exemption is documented. Covid vaccinations are not required. All submitted documents should demonstrate qualifications and nursing skills relevant to the position.
