System Administrator

Virtual Vocations Inc

Working remotely on a long-term contract basis, the System Administrator will deploy new technologies, troubleshoot server issues, and maintain a secure systems environment while supporting user needs. Key responsibilities: Deploys, installs, configures, and maintains PC/server operating systems and related hardware Troubleshoots server problems reported by users and provides solutions Researches and recommends software and hardware products while maintaining secure web access and messaging services Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5-7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or systems administration Direct experience with configuring and maintaining Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix and Windows Server administration Relevant certifications in operating systems or MFT platforms are preferred Virtual Vocations Inc
