Collections Representative

About the Opportunity

Are you experienced in collections and customer service and comfortable having conversations about delinquent accounts and payments? Russell Tobin is hiring a Collections Representative to support one of our leading financial services clients in Hales Corners, WI.

In this role, you'll contact customers with delinquent loan accounts, handle inbound collection calls, work toward resolving past-due accounts, and accurately document customer interactions and account activity. You'll work in a goal-driven environment where strong communication, persistence, and attention to detail are key.

???? Location: Hales Corners, WI (Hybrid)

???? Pay: $19.00-$20.00/hour, paid weekly

???? Contract Opportunity

???? Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM (4 days/week) and 10:00 AM7:00 PM (1 day/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Make high-volume outbound calls to customers with delinquent loan accounts using an auto-dialer or direct calls.
• Discuss delinquency issues with customers and work toward appropriate resolutions.
• Handle inbound collection calls and assist customers or transfer them to the appropriate department when needed.
• Accurately document customer conversations, account information, changes, and resolutions in the system.
• Follow department policies and applicable compliance standards when handling delinquent accounts.
• Work toward department goals by resolving customer issues and reducing delinquency.
• Manage challenging customer conversations professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.
• Maintain accuracy and productivity while working across multiple systems.

Qualifications

? Previous collections experience strongly preferred

? Experience handling delinquent accounts, past-due payments, or collection calls

? Comfortable making and receiving high-volume phone calls

? Strong verbal and written communication skills

? Comfortable discussing payments and financial obligations with customers

? Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills

? Comfortable working with multiple computer systems

? Goal-oriented and able to meet productivity and delinquency-resolution goals

? Ability to remain professional and composed when handling difficult customer interactions
