Pharmacist Opportunity in Marshfield, WI – Contract Position
A pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to fill a contract role in Marshfield, Wisconsin. Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications to patients following legal and safety guidelines
- Review and verify all prescription orders for accuracy and appropriateness
- Provide patient counseling on medication use, side effects, and interactions
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacotherapy outcomes
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
- Comply with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Valid pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain an Act 10 Temporary pharmacist license in Wisconsin
- Experience as a staff pharmacist or in a clinical pharmacy setting
- Strong knowledge of prescription medication dispensing and pharmacy operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with an emphasis on safety and accuracy
