Registered Nurse

The Lennar Foundation Medical Center Internal Medicine Ambulatory clinic has an exciting opportunity for a full time Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse 2 delivers patient-family centered care in a culturally competent manner utilizing evidence-based standards of quality, safety, and service while ensuring population-specific patient care.

The Registered Nurse provides care to patients and makes assessments and evaluations of patients' conditions and treatment plans. They consult with healthcare professionals, prepare patients for examinations and procedures, and administer medications. They also provide psychological support, operate medical equipment, and serve as a preceptor for new staff.

Core Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor of Science Degree Nursing

Certification and Licensing: Florida RN Licensure required, BLS Certification required

Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures
• In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (i.e. sanitation, decontamination etc.)
• Excellent patient experience skills
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
• Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships
• Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
