Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students’ unique needs
• Collaborating with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff for integrated student support
• Managing classroom environments that foster learning, inclusion, and growth
• Communicating progress and strategies with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Utilizing creative instructional approaches to engage students across a variety of abilities
• Documenting goals, accommodations, and student achievements in compliance with district and federal guidelines

Ideal candidates will have:

• Valid special education teaching certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Previous classroom experience in special education—early childhood, elementary, middle, or high school
• Strong knowledge of research-based instructional strategies
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive, and respectful classroom culture
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative spirit

Contract dates are targeted from late July through early June, aligning with the new school year calendar, and the schedule is anticipated to be 37.5 hours per week.
