Licensed Practical NurseOasis at the Crescent is actively seeking a licensed practical nurse for our assisted living facility in Pennsauken, NJ. The ideal candidate will have post-high school coursework in medical services, or a college degree, and have familiarity and true enjoyment from working with the needs of the infirm and the elderly. We also require that you are certified in the state of New Jersey.We're looking to hire for full-time LPN positions for 7:30am - 7:30pm or 7:30pm - 7:30am, that's three shifts a week.Rate $29-$32 hourlyLPN duties:Accurately pour and endorse assistance with the medication of each individualEnsure consistency between physician prescriptions, blister packs and medications poured for each residentEnsure timely and accurate medication orders and medication renewalsReview medication refill log to compare with medication in storage cabinetsReview of "no-refill" orders in the refill log and faxing of requests to MDsReview of receipt, storage, and documentation of medications deliveredCommunicate with the medication supervisor to clarify and ensure entitlements, prescriptions, and deliveriesMaintain medical and medication information on all residents in their designated fileReport residents who missed or refused medications to supervisor and case managementAttend all mandatory scheduled in-service training programsLPN requirements:New Jersey certificationPost high school course work in medical services or college degree is a plusAble to read, write, and communicate clearly in the English languageFamiliar with the needs of the infirm and the elderlyAbout usOasis at the Crescent is a cozy, friendly community located in the heart of Pennsauken NJ.
