Multi-discipline engineering firm in business for decades is looking for a Civil Engineer – Discipline for their White Plains office!
Responsibilities:
- Design and coordination of work for multi-discipline projects (due diligence/site feasibility studies, site engineering, through regulatory approvals, full permitting for full range of site development projects)
- Develop site layout and design (site grading and storm drainage, roadway design, water and sewer infrastructure, erosion and sediment control)
- Prepare hydrology and hydraulic calculations
- Project administration duties (report writing, gathering information, writing proposals/correspondence, tracking project costs, completing progress reports)
- Prepare engineer’s opinion of probably cost for designed projects and specifications for public bids
- Coordinate tasks with other departments (engineering and architectural)
- Build/maintain client relationships
- Responsible for delivering projects on-time, on budget, and within quality standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related discipline
- 12+ years of design experience with a focus on site development projects
- PE License
- Knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices of related technical areas
- Knowledge of NYSDEC storm water drainage and SWPPP requirements
- Proficient in AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, Autoturn, Excel, and Photoshop
Salary is commensurate with experience.
