Tax Compliance Analyst

Our client, a leading organization in the finance and accounting sector, is seeking a Tax Compliance Analyst to join their team. As a Tax Compliance Analyst, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting the Tax Compliance team. Job Title: Tax Compliance Analyst Location: Berkeley Heights, NJ Pay Range: $44 per hour What's the Job? Preparation of accurate and timely sales and use tax returns Prepare monthly sales/use tax journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers to support the General Ledger tax account balances Assist in determining nexus, identifying filing requirements, and registering to ensure tax compliance across all US state and local jurisdictions Respond to state and local tax notices and inquiries promptly and professionally Research various tax issues to support compliance and strategic decision-making What's Needed? Business Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years of previous tax compliance experience SAP experience or equivalent financial software required Taxware experience or other tax compliance software required Strong PC skills including proficiency with MS Office applications What's in it for me?
