We also legit have the best margaritas in all of Austin. Ask anyone. JOB OVERVIEW A Dishwasher is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dining environment. Stewards will assist in washing dishes, cleaning kitchen equipment, and ensuring all areas meet health and safety standards. This role will contribute to a positive dining experience for guests and support the overall efficiency of the outlet. What you'll do: Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans by hand or using a commercial dishwasher; ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized before reuse Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen, including floors, countertops, walls, and equipment; regularly sweep, mop, and sanitize kitchen surfaces Properly dispose of waste and recycling materials, ensuring garbage bins are emptied and cleaned regularly Assist in organizing kitchen supplies, utensils, and equipment in their designated places; replenish stock as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, such as ovens, grills, fryers, and refrigerators, to ensure they are in good working condition Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, following proper sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and foodborne illnesses Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area, including sanitizing tables, chairs, and other surfaces Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for team members and guests Collaborate with culinary and service teams to ensure efficient service and address any cleanliness or sanitation concerns promptly. Respond to spills, accidents, or other emergencies that require immediate cleaning and attention Who you are: You have state-issued food handling certifications as required. You are able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
