MRI Technologist - Travel Job

MRI Technologist Opportunity

Jackson HealthPros is thrilled to welcome an experienced MRI Technologist to our team to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, and expertly operate MRI scanners to create diagnostic images. This opportunity is located in Hudson, FL at a hospital facility. Candidates must be able to work the listed evening schedule and collaborate with radiologists and the imaging team to ensure patient safety and high-quality diagnostic studies.

Minimum Requirements

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification.
• MRI advanced level certification and applicable state licensure for Florida.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as an MRI Technologist, including independent work in the MRI department with radiologist availability for consultation.
• BLS certification.
• Experience operating GE MRI scanners, specifically Signa 1.5T or comparable equipment.
• Experience performing neuro, abdominal (including MRCP), MRA, cardiac and MSK exams, and arthrograms.
• Ability to maintain MRI safety protocols and provide excellent patient care in the MRI environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience adapting imaging protocols to patient or physician needs.
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR.
• Willingness to learn and use onsite and virtual applications for new procedures.
• Experience with GE software upgrades or working knowledge of GE 23X/30X platforms is a plus.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1500 - 01:30.
• Evening shift assignment.
• Typical unit staffing: 3 MRI staff members, 1 MRI bed; patient ratio typically 1:1.
• May include 1-2 days on call per month.
• Type of equipment on site: GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T.
