Role Description

Gallo Legal Services is seeking a highly skilled Legal Videographer & Technical Operator. This professional will focus on courtroom presentation, legal video services, and digital evidence management. This role requires expert use of trial presentation software to effectively display exhibits and video during all phases of trial. We need a proactive, detail-oriented "pillar" who can balance high-stakes litigation support with creative production and technical troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Trial Presentation:

• Act as the lead specialist for in-court presentations using specialized software, with a heavy emphasis on OnCue.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve complex hardware and software issues, specifically regarding signal flow and equipment connectivity.

Videography & Production:

• Record Legal Proceedings: Professionally record depositions, trials, and hearings using professional cameras, OBS, and Zoom.
• Podcast Production: Manage video switching for company podcasts and recordings using Blackmagic ATEM hardware.

Advanced Video Services:

• Synchronize video footage with transcript text and create precise video clips or picture-in-picture for trial exhibits.
• Post-Production: Edit, format, and manage digital video files using Adobe Premiere or DaVinci Resolve.

Marketing, Creative Design & Video Editing:

• Use Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve and CapCut to edit legal footage, promotional videos, and social media content.
• Create visually compelling graphics for digital marketing and brand enhancement to support company growth.
• Social Media: Produce and edit engaging content for company platforms to build brand awareness. Including writing blogs and other posts for social media and/or our website.

IT & Equipment Operation:

• Expertly set up, operate, and troubleshoot video and audio equipment in courtrooms, field and offices.
• Provide basic IT assistance to ensure seamless workflows in the office.
• Evidence Management: Prepare, organize, and manage digital evidence, ensuring seamless and compelling presentation during trials.

General Support:

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of the firm and team.

Qualifications Required

• Software Mastery: Ability to learn and understand OnCue trial presentation or equivalent software; proficiency in OBS and Adobe Premiere Pro/DaVinci Resolve.
• Technical Skill: Strong understanding of signal flow, video switching (Blackmagic ATEM), and AV troubleshooting.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to safely lift, pick up, and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment over long distances during setups and transitions.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in videography/technical operations or a related field preferred.
• Reliability: Highly punctual and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects under trial pressure.
• Professionalism: Commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality, integrity, and a professional demeanor in courtroom settings.
• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field preferred and/or equivalent experience.

Work Setting:

• In-person at the Atlanta, GA (Chamblee area) location.
