Periodontal Dental Assistant - Sign on BonusSouthern MN PeriodonticsWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Periodontal Dental Assistant to support our periodontist in providing high-quality periodontal and implant care. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in periodontal procedures, and committed to excellent patient care and infection control standards.Schedule: Full Time, M-TH and half day on FridayResponsibilitiesAssist the periodontist during periodontal surgeries and proceduresPrepare treatment rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipmentTake and process dental radiographsMix and prepare dental materials (cements, impression materials, sutures, membranes)Perform suctioning, retraction, and instrument transfer during proceduresEducate patients on periodontal disease, post-op care, and oral hygiene instructionsDocument clinical notes accurately in the dental softwareAssist with scheduling, treatment coordination, and case presentations as neededMaintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control regulationsManage inventory and restock clinical suppliesPlease note that additional responsibilities may be assignedQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalentDental Assistant license with the state of MNPreferred Skills1+ years of Dental Assisting experience (perio preferred)Familiarity with dental software systemsExcellent communication skills and a team-first attitudeReliable, organized, and comfortable in a high-level clinical settingWe OfferCompetitive Compensation$1,500 Sign on BonusBenefits Package: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Flexible Spending Accounts, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays and much more!Specialized Dental Partners, its affiliates, related companies and independently owned supported clinical practices are proud to be Equal Opportunity Employers.
