Registered Nurse RN

Responsibilities The Surgical RN is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients before, during and after surgery to include: Create and maintain a sterile and safe environment. Provide preoperative and postoperative instruction. Monitor the physiological and psychological status of the patient. Coordinate patient care. Act as a patient advocate. Full time days Monday - Friday 7:00am-3:30pm with call. Employment Type Full time Shift Day shift Licensure/Certification/Registration Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. Must have a minimum of one year of operating room or critical care experience. May also float to outpatient surgery. Must hold BLS and ACLS certification. Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing. Experience Preferred but not required.
