Staff Software EngineerOur client is an innovative technology company that's looking to add a Staff Software Engineer to its growing engineering team. If you're someone who enjoys designing scalable systems, building production-ready AI applications, and taking ownership from architecture through deployment, this could be a great fit.Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain scalable full stack applications and cloud-native systems.Develop robust APIs, backend services, and modern web applications.Architect and implement AI-powered applications, agentic workflows, and intelligent automation solutions.Partner with stakeholders to identify opportunities where technology can improve business operations.Lead technical architecture and system design while remaining hands-on with development.Ensure applications are secure, reliable, scalable, and production-ready.Qualifications:7+ years of full stack software engineering experience.Experience building enterprise-grade applications from end to end.Proven experience leveraging AI development tools to build production applications, including technologies such as Claude Code, custom MCP, skills, and backend-as-a-service platforms.Strong experience with Python, React, Next.js, SQL, and NoSQL databases.Experience designing scalable APIs and cloud-based architectures.Hands-on experience integrating AI/ML into production systems.Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and business teams.Location: New York City (Hybrid)Compensation: $250,000-$300,000 base salary + bonus + equity.Benefits: 100% employer-covered medical, dental, and vision insurance for employees. 401(k) with a 50% company match up to 6% of annual salary.
