Job Overview
A law firm seeks a Complex Commercial Litigation Associate with at least three years of experience in commercial litigation to join their New York City office. The candidate should be capable of working independently on core litigation tasks and possess strong research and writing skills.
Duties
- Draft pleadings and conduct legal research.
- Prepare discovery and handle motion practice.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Assist with trial preparation.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of commercial litigation experience.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills.
Education
- Excellent law school credentials preferred.
- Law review experience preferred.
Certifications
- Former judicial clerks preferred.
Skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
