Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out diverse ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during procedures, clearly explaining each phase with empathy and professionalism
• Work in tandem with radiologists and referring physicians to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Effectively operate and maintain imaging equipment, addressing any malfunctions immediately
• Diligently document procedures and maintain comprehensive patient records within the electronic medical platform
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and industry best practices

Education Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Valid certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred

Required Skills

• Proficient in sonographic imaging techniques and adept in patient positioning
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
