PIT Operator - 2nd Shift

You will work the 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM as a Forklift Operator, playing a vital role in providing sophisticated supply chain solutions for our customers. Job Overview You will operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack or move product, equipment and materials; use a handheld scanner with high accuracy; load and unload trailers as needed; and adhere to the 7S program, maintaining a clean environment at all times. You will demonstrate a commitment to process excellence and understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy while performing inbound receiving processes. Responsibilities Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to move product, equipment, and materials. Use a handheld scanner with a high degree of accuracy. Load and unload trailers as needed. Adhere to the 7S program and maintain a clean environment. Display a commitment to process excellence. Demonstrate understanding of the Supply Chain quality policy. Perform inbound receiving processes. Qualifications Must be trained and certified in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks. Availability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime when needed. Ideal Candidate Attributes High school diploma or equivalent. At least one year of warehouse experience. Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment. Excellent communication skills. Physical Requirements Lifting 50 lbs. frequently and greater than 75 lbs. occasionally. Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes and weights. Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull. Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods of time. Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
