Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join their team. As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will be an integral part of the warehouse operations supporting the logistics team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Location: Austin, TX
Pay Range: $19.00
Shift: 6:30am 3:00PM
What's the Job?
- Receive, check, store, issue, and ship inbound/outbound materials from the warehouse
- Adhere to plant and corporate safety policies
- Assist in other areas or perform additional duties as required by fluctuating business needs
- Ensure shipping counts match packing documents and resolve discrepancies
- Pack customer goods according to customer expectations and verify proper counts and contents of deliveries
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year of manufacturing or warehouse experience
- Ability to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to comprehend written and verbal instructions
- Basic math skills and manual dexterity
