Role Description The Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Manhattan, NY. This role is responsible for overseeing residential renovation projects from pre-construction through closeout, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. The Project Manager will manage projects, conduct site inspections, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to design specifications and building regulations. Day-to-day tasks include leading project meetings, tracking progress against milestones, resolving on-site issues, managing logistics for materials and labor, and communicating clearly with clients, architects, and building management. The role also involves preparing project documentation, reporting on risk and status, and ensuring that all work meets Rusk Renovations' standards of craftsmanship, safety, and professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills, including Project Management for construction, scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Knowledge of Inspection procedures, including site inspections, quality checks, and compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Logistics Management capabilities for planning material deliveries, workforce allocation, and on-site sequencing of trades.
  • Prior experience managing high-end residential renovation projects, preferably in Manhattan or similar urban environments.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to work on-site daily, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain professional client and architect relationships.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, project scheduling tools, and standard safety practices. xhyhwjd
