Construction Project Manager

United Developers (UD Roofing) is a licensed Maryland and Northern Virginia general contractor, in business since 2005 with 650+ completed projects and 4.9 stars across 130+ reviews. We built the company on roof replacement, storm restoration, siding and gutters. We are now running full general contracting as well: kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, decks and porches. We need a project manager who can own that work end to end. WHAT YOU WOULD RUN You are the single point of contact on your projects, from signed scope to final walkthrough. Own 8 to 15 concurrent projects across roofing, exteriors and interior renovation Write and hold line-item scopes. No vague change orders, no surprises to the client Schedule crews and licensed MEP trade partners for HVAC, electrical and plumbing Pull permits and schedule inspections with Montgomery County, Fairfax County and surrounding jurisdictions Meet insurance adjusters on site for storm and hail claims and document damage to claim standard Be the person the client actually calls, and answer WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR 3+ years managing residential or light commercial construction projects Working knowledge of roofing systems (asphalt, metal, TPO, EPDM) and interior renovation trades You have pulled permits in a Maryland or Northern Virginia jurisdiction and know how the inspectors work Comfortable on a roof and comfortable in a client's kitchen explaining a change order Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Bilingual English and Spanish is a real advantage on our crews NICE TO HAVE Prior work with insurance restoration claims OSHA 30 WHAT WE OFFER Competitive salary based on experience, plus performance bonus tied to project margin and client satisfaction Company vehicle or vehicle allowance A real book of work.
