The role is focused on providing critical care in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting, working with patients with complex needs such as respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, and more. The ideal candidate will possess strong ICU experience and be comfortable with precepting new graduate RNs.

Key Responsibilities of the ICU Registered Nurse

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to ICU patients
• Manage patients with respiratory failure, DKA, STEMI, overdose, detox, and CHF
• Handle complex post-operative surgical cases and general medical/surgical ICU
• Float to medical-surgical units as needed
• Precept new graduate RNs, offering guidance and support

Requirements of the ICU Registered Nurse

• Active BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Current MT or compact nursing license
• Minimum of 3 years ICU experience
• Prior travel nursing experience
