BI Report Developer Analyst

Salary: $73,000 - 73,000 per year Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in Power BI development and business analytics
• At least 2 years of experience developing enterprise reporting solutions
• At least 2 years of experience working directly with business stakeholders
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, DAX, SQL, data modeling and star schema design, Power BI Service administration, advanced Excel, and Microsoft Office
• Ability to type at least 50 words per minute and use ten-key by touch
• Strong written and verbal communication, analytical, organizational, and time-management skills; attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, solve problems, and work with numerical data
• Preferred experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Dynamics, and with accounting
• Preferred familiarity with Power Query (M), Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake, SQL Server, data warehousing, Python or R, SAP S/4HANA reporting, Git or DevOps source control, and paginated report development

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, scorecards, semantic models, and data models
• Create DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs; build and optimize Power Query transformations; and develop paginated reports
• Implement row-level security and governance standards, optimize report performance and refresh schedules, and manage content, deployment pipelines, and releases in Power BI Service
• Analyze business data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities; conduct root cause and variance analyses; and turn complex datasets into actionable insights and recommendations
• Develop performance metrics, support ad hoc reporting and executive requests, and present findings to leadership
• Gather and document business requirements, work with finance, operations, HR, and other departments, and translate business needs into reporting solutions
• Conduct user acceptance testing and training sessions
• Validate data accuracy and integrity, collaborate with data engineering on source system enhancements, and support data governance
• Maintain report documentation and data dictionaries, and troubleshoot data and reporting issues
• Recommend reporting capabilities and visualization approaches, support Microsoft Fabric and advanced analytics initiatives, and identify opportunities for standardization and automation
• Keep current with SAP, Power BI, Fabric, and Microsoft analytics technologies
